Condolence: Mr.Curto introduced me to two very important things: matzo ball soup and Edna St. Vincent Millay's poetry. This obituary taught me so much about him. In a way, it puts his exceptional nature in context. My sincerest condolences to his loved ones. All these years and miles away, his absence is felt.

Condolence: Don was one of a kind! Both Mary and I have fond memories of Don in person and through his excellent column in Marquette Monthly. It was the first thing we turned to each issue. Pat-you have always been one of my favorite people, and you have my deepest sympathy, as does the rest of the family. Don will surely be missed.

Condolence From: Hon. Peter and Anna Plummer
Condolence: Dear Pat. My heart and Anna's go out to you in deepest sympathy for your loss. Your fearless and tireless support for Donald, especially these last few years is to be honored. Donald was blessed to have someone to make it possible for him to be home until the end as he desired. Donald saved my life 29 years ago and was a true friend and mentor ever since. Donald and his wonderful friend, Dick Chapman, taught me how to live life on life's terms. He helped many others learn the same. My heavy docket prevents my presence on Thursday, but Don has my love and will continue to be a part of my life everyday.
