Obituary for Patricia Gertrude Antilla (Supanich)

Patricia (Pat) G. Antilla, 81, of Mohawk, passed away peacefully with her
family by her side on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Aspirus Keweenaw
Hospital.

She was born on June 26, 1933 in Laurium to her parents, the late Michael
and Gertrude (Granville) Supanich.

On December 3, 1954, she married her husband, Elroy Antilla. They were
married for 60 years.

Pat worked as a waitress and hostess at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge in
the 1960’s. When her husband took over as Sheriff of Keweenaw County in
1975, she then served as Under Sheriff and Jail Matron until 1992 when
they retired.

She loved her grandkids, and she especially loved to watch their sporting
events. She enjoyed cooking and baking and traveling to Las Vegas and
Hawaii with her husband. She was a wonderful caretaker for her Aunt
Eleanor. She also loved and enjoyed taking care of her Grand Dog “Buffy”.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her Son-in-Law, George
Rangus, her Aunt Eleanor Granville and just recently her Grand
Dog “Buffy”.

She is survived by her husband, Elroy Antilla,

Sons Bill (Marilyn) Antilla of Honolulu Hawaii, Donald Antilla of Our Lady of Mercy in Hubbell

and Daughter, Donna Rangus of Laurium,

two Grandsons, Bob Rangus of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Brian Rangus of Marquette,

Brother Bob (Ruth) Supanich of Copper City

and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 27 at
Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ahmeek with Fr. Abraham
Mupparathara to officiate and Deacon Art Stancher assisting.
