Obituary for Mary Margaret Swetich (Bahor)

Mary Swetich, 70, a resident of Calumet, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home.

She was born on March 25, 1947, in Calumet to Joseph and Mary (Klobuchar) Bahor.

She attended Sacred Heart Schools and also Calumet High School.

She worked for Calumet Electronics for several years. She also worked at the Calumet Mercantile with her daughter and stepdaughter, were she was known as the fudge lady.

She was also an in home seamstress for many years. She was and avid baker and enjoyed sewing.

On April 26, 1975, she was united in marriage to Edward Swetich at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Calumet.

She is a member of the St. Paul the Apostle Church in Calumet.

She is survived by:

Her daughter: Rose (Andy) Zawadzki of Oxford, Michiganand stepdaughter Donna (Michael) Bausano of Lac La Belle

Her granddaughter: Carla Zawadzki

Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A parish prayer service will be held at 6:45 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Calumet with Father Abraham Mupparathara to officiate and Deacon Art Stancher to assist.
