Obituary for Lois A, Immonen

Feb. 28, 2003 Friday

Lois A. Immonen, 52, of White Pine and former New Allouez resident passed away Friday evening (Feb. 28, 2003) at Marquette General Hospital where she had been a patient for the past 2 days

Lois was born on Oct. 10, 1950 in Calumet a daughter of Matthew and Mildred Perala.

She had attended the local schools of the area and Calumet High School and was a graduate of the White Pine High School, Class of 1977.

Lois enjoyed a varity of music, activities at the beach with family and friends, playing slots at the casino or on the computer

She was presently employed as a nurses aide at the Long Term Care Unit of the Ontonagon Memorial Hospital where she was loved by co-workers and residents

She married David Immonen on Dec. 27, 1969 and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1997

She is a member of the Women=s Auxially of the White Pine American Legion Post 462

Lois is survived by

her mother: Mildred Perala; Ahmeek

Charles (Beth) Immonen; Ontonagon
Donna Immonen and Daniel Nowicki of White Pine
Leonard Immonen and Sara Bell; White Pine

Lois leaves a host of friends. Those who knew her best, know her life was about her family and friends

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 (Noon) Thursday at the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home of Calumet with the Rev. Allen Goodrich officiating.

Spring burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek

Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of services at 12:00 (Noon)
at the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home.
