Condolences

Condolence From: Elaine Wanhala
Condolence: Dear Tamyra and Heather, Thank your for your kind words about my sister Jan. It is nice to hear from her work friends. She was very blunt and liked to state her opinions. She also liked to cook and bake. She was supposed to go to our sister Pat's on Dec 8 to make cookies. She also went by several names. She was Janee as a child, Janice in school, Jan as an adult and apparently "Jane" at work! One of our aunts always called her Janet. Her whole family will miss her very much. We lost her much much too soon! Thanks again for the condolences. Elaine Wanhala (Bird)

Condolence: I echo much of what Tamyra Hunt said. I too had the pleasure of working with Jan at DFM. I will always appreciate Jan's blunt honesty. For example, on my last day at DFM I gave her a big hug and told her it's been a blast working with her; her laughed: "Not always and you know that!" as tears filled her eyes. I only knew her for three too short years...but those three years are filled with numerous inside jokes. I'm thankful for the time I had with her and I will miss her dearly.

Condolence: My Condolence to Jan's family & friends. I worked with Jan here in Colorado at DFM. Jan and I got to be close friends she was always alot of fun to be around. Jan or how she refer to herself when she was in a mischievous mood (Jane) would always state her opinions loved that about her she was never afraid to say how she felt. She would brighten up the days with her wit and humor and we enjoyed texting back and forth during our favorite programs we both watched. Jan loved to talk about recipes and never afraid to try a new one. She had a love for animals and a big heart. She was very giving person and very thoughtful. She was always interested in the people she called friends lives and had a ear to listen. I know she loved her family very much and spoke very highly of them. She will be very missed in my heart and Im so glad I had a chance to know her same time and will always consider her a dear friend I lost too soon.
