Susan Ann Britz, 67 of Atlantic Mine passed away on November 1, 2020 at UP Health Marquette.
Susan was born on December 19, 1952 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Alfred and Arlene (Goetsch) Seely. She attended local schools and then received her RN degree in 1992 from Suomi College. She worked at Portage Health, Superior Home Nursing (20 years), Aspirus, and Copper Country Mental Health.
Susan married Alfred Britz on April 1, 1980 in Baraga, Michigan. Susan was an avid Packer fan, she loved camping, spending time with family and her dog Buddy. She attended St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church.
She is preceded in death by parents Alfred and Arlene Seely and stepson Mark Britz.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Britz, her daughter Kimberly Britz of Lake Linden, her sons John (Tammy) Britz of Chassell, and Rodney Britz of Hancock, her grandchildren Christopher Britz, Callie Aittama, Brianna Britz, Kyle Britz, Colton Britz, and Skylar Britz and a great grandchild Dawn Hippula, sisters Vicki (Tom) Timple and Patti (Rob) Green and her nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private family service will be held in the spring.
