Morgan J. Peterson, 58, a resident of Calumet, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday,
April 21, 2021. He was born on November 1, 1962 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Donald Peterson
and Beverly (Pitts) Peterson. He graduated from Calumet High School in the class of 1981. Morgan was
a military veteran having served for five years in the United States Air Force. He worked in construction
much of his life and enjoyed applying his passion and skills in building as well as collecting and
refurbishing antiques, adeptly transforming the old into vibrant and new. He will be greatly missed by
those he touched with his understated humor. Morgan is survived by his life partner, Dan Dubey; his
mother, Beverly Peterson; his siblings, Kurt (Jerri Gruber) Peterson, Marsha (Steven) Daniels, Scott (Amy
Pace) Peterson, and Nancy (David) Regis, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The
Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A private
