Obituary for Frederick A. Lenten

Frederick “Fred” Lenten, 82, a resident of Calumet Waterworks Road passed away at Canal View Houghton County on Sunday June 13, 2021.
He was born on December 19, 1938 in Laurium, son of the late Clifford and Eva (Macomber) Lenten. Brother to Clifford and James Lenten.
On February 23, 1974 he was united in marriage to the former Doris LaRoux and she preceded him in death on July 17, 2008.
Fred served in the Army Corps of Engineers and was employed as a heavy equipment operator for most of his life.
He is survived by his nephew’s family, Jim Lenten, Deborah Lenten (Kirch), and their children, James and Kimberly of Illinois and many friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will held on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Deacon Art Stancher to officiate. Visitation will be following the funeral at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
