Obituary for Deanna Mae Olson (Woodward)

Deanna Olson, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Calumet with family at her side on November 12, 2022.
Preceding her in death was her parents Harold and Irene Woodward, brothers Jimmy Woodward and Kenneth Woodward and a sister Arlene Austin.
Deanna our loving wife and mother left this world too soon for us. We are thankful she is at peace and pain free. She is our loving spiritual and sweet soul in heaven with God and Jesus. We will cherish every single moment we shared with her. She is our guardian angel. She will be in our hearts and souls forever. All our family cherished the great true stories she told us and made us laugh. She had a great sense of humor that we all loved. She will be missed dearly by everyone. She had a big kind heart and every Christmas she would be the Christmas angel. She gave an anonymous gift to someone every year, such as a friend, acquaintance, or a stranger. Our spiritual wife and mother will live in our hearts and souls forever. Mom loved to sew and made all her own patterns and loved doing crafts.
Deb and mom loved to bake Christmas cookies from October through December a total of 2000 a year and gave them all away as gifts.
Survivors include husband Ralph Olson, brother Dean Woodward, daughters Denise Kangas and Deb Koski. Grandson Jamie Philippi, and numerous cousins’ nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM May 15, 2023 at the Siskiwit Reception Hall in Calumet.
